Public Holidays in Florida

On the following national holidays, banks, government agencies, post offices and businesses close and public transport runs limited services. Businesses tend to wind down a couple of days before Thanksgiving to allow staff time to travel to family get-togethers. Trains, planes and buses are booked to capacity and roads are congested.
